The Driveshaft Shop 9" Conversion Kit for Toyota Supra

Unleash the Potential of Your Supra
Designed for maximum performance and durability, the Driveshaft Shop 9" Conversion Kit has been proven in some of the fastest independent rear suspension (IRS) cars in the world. This kit retains the drivability of an independent rear while handling horsepower far beyond factory limits.


What’s Included in the Kit:

  1. 9” Rear Housing with Integrated Mounts:

    • Features rear mounting points, brackets, and all required hardware for a seamless installation.
  2. 1400HP Pro-Level Axles:

    • Built with 300M 30-spline center bars, billet 4340 CV cages, and 300M races.
    • Billet axle stubs are available 35 spline options for compatibility with various center sections.
  3. Driveshaft Options:

    • A 4" high-speed balanced aluminum driveshaft with the latest CV design.
    • Optional upgrade to a 3-3/4" carbon fiber shaft featuring advanced bonding technology (additional fee applies).
  4. Additional Hardware:

    • Larger vent tube and a magnetic drain plug to collect gear break-in debris.
    • Special 31/33/35 spline differential stubs rated to 1800HP with a double-seal design.

Important Installation Details:

  • Center Section Compatibility:

    • The kit is designed for use with Strange center sections and 5-bolt pinion supports.
    • If using other manufacturers' center sections (e.g., Moser), modifications may be necessary. Fitment is not guaranteed for non-Strange units.
  • Gear Break-In:

    • Gears must be broken in for 300-500 miles, followed by an oil change.
    • Recommended oil: Lucas 85-140 Non-Synthetic (2 quarts required).
  • Pinion Case Fitment:

    • Ensure pinion support bolt size and spacing match Factory Ford specs. Contact us for assistance.
